MN Hockey regulations now require that at least one adult of the same gender be present in the locker room at all times for squirts, pee wees, and bantams. What this means is that if the coach leaves the locker room than another adult (asst. coach, parent) has to walk into the locker room. This also means that the adult serving as locker room monitor must pass a background check through MN hockey. The forms can be found under coach resources at this link, http://www.mplshockey.com/page/show/3194-coach-resources. Team managers need to identify parents willing to monitor the locker room and have them fill out this background check.
