On March 21st, 2015 the Storm had their end of the year Extravaganza...this has become an annual event for kids, parents, and coaches to close out their season. A special thanks to all that helped put this together -- especially Royce Lawler who coordinated the hospitality side of the event.

One thing always enjoyable to see in hockey is how retired NHL players still give back to the game....and this year was no different as 12 former NHL players played a game with our coaches at Parade Ice Garden. The stands were full for a fun and highly competitive game.

Also at the game, the Storm rewarded our Rink Rats with T-shirts, and gave out our annual awards. The Storm awards have been given out by Minneapolis Hockey since the mid-70's. We ask our coaches to submit players that stood out in a bunch of key categories that we think are "core" to playing for the Storm - Teamwork, Coachability, Sportsmanship, Determination, and Commitment. This is very hard for the coaches, as virtually every kid in the program meets these categories.
