Reimbursement Programs

Reimbursement for Training and Equipment

Program Overview: This is a reimbursement program that compares to non-other.  Storm takes tremendous pride in its goalies and knows that much is involved in this position, above and beyond a normal skater.  The reimbursement program is for "goalie" equipment purchases and/or "outside" training.  The training portion will be reimbursed for any training once the goalie is signed up for the season (i.e. pre-season Sep/Oct) and up to Feb. 1st for "purchases".  Training in the spring/summer is on you!

We understand you can score huge deals on equipment in the off-season.... thus equipment can be purchased ANY TIME... HOWEVER - - - I will accept reimbursements requests (training and equipment) from Nov 1st to Mar 1st.  Therefore, after Mar 1st, any "equipment" purchases made there forward (i.e. spring sales) will be accepted the next season.  Reimbursements will not be accepted for purchases that were from a previous season and not submitted in time.

Goalcrease Program (updated for 2023-2024 season)

Besides the "in-house" training that we have established from pre to end of season, we are offering an "out of house" training program with Goalcrease in Edina.

Many have asked for "outside" training and this is our offer:

  • This is for Squirt/10U and up. (not Mite/8U)
  • Must be registered and used during the season (not carry into summer)  Offer to "purchase" ends Feb 1st, can use into Mar.
  •  Special pricing for 1 on 1 sessions* AND partially subsidized by Storm
  • $575 per 5 pack - Family $300 (paid to Goalcrease) - Storm covers $275 (paid by Storm to Goalcrease)
  •  Max two 5 packs.  *Kicker....  Goalcrease is ok if you combine with other goalie(s)... so instead of ten 1 on 1 for a great price, you could mix it up with another goalie, use one pack of 5 for 1 on 1 while sharing and getting 10 more sessions for 2 on 1.  That's 15 skates instead of 10 for same price.
  • If you choose to use the Goalcrese Program, you forfeit the "regular" $400 training reimbursement... one or the other.
