TEAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

The Team Manager is the engine that keeps the team running.   The manager wears many hats.  Below is a list of most of the responsibilities but other things may come up.  

Team managers  will receive full DIBS.  Team managers will have 1 set of full DIBS to offer to an Assistant Manager.  DIBS can be split among 2 assistants (ie, Asst. Manager and Scrimmage Coordinator).  The scrimmage coordinator can be a coach, manager or assistant manager. 

If a team has 2 co-managers then both managers receive full DIBS and no additional DIBS are available for assistants/scrimmage coordinators.  

Manager Responsibilities:
  • Attend mandatory D3 manager meeting
  • Team Communications
  • Team Treasurer (manage team funds) *only the Team Head Manager can act as team treasurer
  • Team webmaster (home page, calendar updates, game updates)
  • Schedule scrimmages
  • Schedule and pay refs for scrimmages
  • Responsible for team iPad for electronic score sheets
  • Assign parents as locker room monitors
  • Assign parents as game day volunteers 
  • Manage game day tasks
  • Responsible for Team iPad for GameSheets
  • Secure team sponsors
  • Team apparel coordinator
  • Plan team social events
  • Book additional tournaments (if desired by coaches and team)
  • Communicate Picture day information
  • Create roster cards for parents
  • Manage all tournament details
  • Check team in at Tournaments
  • Plan season end Team celebration event
